Warranty

Manufacturer warranty coverage

Sunglass Resort warrants qualified products to be free of manufacturer defects in both material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Frames found to be defective within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

If it is not clear whether a fault is the result of a defect or misuse, the item may need to be returned to the manufacturer for assessment to determine whether you are entitled to a replacement.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover, and is not limited to:

  • Non-qualified products
  • Damage or breakage resulting from:
    • Normal wear and tear, including scratched lenses
    • Adjustments for custom bend or fit alteration
    • Removal or insertion of lenses
    • Misuse, abuse, accidental damage or other improper use
    • Improper packaging of a return shipment

Service in store

Online orders cannot be returned or exchanged in store, but our team is happy to service your frames in store, including warranty claims and repairs, whether you bought them online or at the shop. Simple adjustments are free for our customers on frames purchased from Sunglass Resort. Fees may apply to repairs that are not covered by the warranty.

Non-warranted products

For non-qualified products that need repair, are outside the warranty period, or were damaged by a non-warranted action, please visit our shop for assistance. Fees apply based on the nature of the repair.

Free breakage protection guarantee

Breakage Protection is included at no charge with eligible sunglasses and complete prescription eyewear. If you break or damage them within 12 months of purchase, bring them in with proof of purchase and receive an identical replacement for 50% off its current regular retail price, before any discounts or markdowns. This benefit is available once per purchase. If an item has been discontinued, the replacement must be of equal or greater value than the original.

Breakage Protection does not cover electronics, META smart glasses, related accessories, loss or theft. It cannot be combined with discounts, insurance or other promotions.
